Lunch. Quaint atmosphere. Superb service. Steak cook as ordered. Nice smoked cowboy beans. Enjoyed the fresh made toppings for my potatoe. Would reccomend upgrade to twice baked exclusively (idea for chef; not to be interpreted as insult). I was with my daughter, so I was not drinking ; however, their craft cocktails look delicious. Date night material Mikey likes it.

Service was excellent... steak was good but the shrimp was fantastic. Definitely a spot to return to!

Great atmosphere! Food was very tasty and delicious 👌. The only thing we had a issue with, it took almost 40 minutes for our food to be served. It was not busy at the time we were there. Overall, very good place!

Omg I highly reccomend the burgers and ribs. Portion sizes are huge lol. I had the Todd chili burger and the bun was fried Mac n Chesse. It was soooooo good.

Easily one of the best meals we've had! And this is from a cross country road trip. Portions are huge. Cornbread and cinnamon butter we're fantastic. Wedge salad was fantastic. Emmalee was super friendly.

While it took a little bit to have service...it ended up being worth the wait! The food is all original and exciting! The Roosevelt muscles, walleye almondine, and smothered kabob were simply amazing! The salads were so fresh and portions were very hearty, leaving some for leftovers that continued the experience a little longer in the day! Would definitely recommend. The owner/manager was very friendly and helpful too!

The Steerfish always has great lunch specials, a diversified drink and food menu, pleasant wait staff and nice atmosphere! Today our table ordered the smoked prime rib dip, chopped huckleberry salad, a spinach salad with salmon, and a wedge salad with chopped/grilled chicken. We were all pleased with our choices. We always enjoy eating here and have a hard time narrowing down what we would like to eat! It is a wonderful place to meet friends for lunch or dinner.

Rarely have I found a place that has (1) delicious food (steak is tdf), (2) spectacular selection of whiskeys, and (3) great service from the moment you walk in the door all under one roof. This is the place for steak and whiskey.

The service, atmosphere, and food is fabulous. They offer several beer brews. They have really good steaks. I had the steak tips which was not one I'd order again nor the Reuben sandwich. The stuffed mushrooms are crazy good. I would recommend this place for all purposes and ages.

Fantastic food and great service! Steaks where cooked perfect and seasoned great, big salads and great potatoes. Big menu with a nice atmosphere and extremely kind service. If you want a good sit down place to eat this is the place to go

Awesome atmosphere, corn bread muffins are heaven. Definitely reccomend the BBQ Brisket Mac. If you're in the area, this is a definite stop!

OMGOSH! Hands down some of the best food I've ever had! I have to admit, when I found out that we were going to have to wait over a half hour just to be seated, I really considered going somewhere else. But, the wait was TOTALLY worth it! My husband had the walleye tacos and I had the stacked nachos w/BBQ pulled pork. Both were out of this world! I also had the tomato- mozzarella salad and it was super fresh! I HIGHLY recommend!

Large party of 10, and the food was good, as was the service. Large quantities, too. It was at lunch on a Friday, the restaurant was not busy but it took quite some time for the whole table to be served. Prices were reasonable, especially the lunch menu.

This place was fantastic! Although the service was kinda slow and it took a bit to get checked in, the food made it worth it. Everything was cooked to perfection. The cornbread was incredible. It was also a really cool atmosphere inside as well. I loved the historic nature of it. Easily the best meal I had while visiting this area. Highly recommend!

. The waitress helped herself to a $4700.00 tip on my card. I got the charges stopped through the bank. I called the restaurant and have not heard back from them.. the food was ok and the service was slow.

Very good! Great service, great food, hardly a wait at all to get some of the best food ever! The manager on duty was very good. He stopped by to see if everything was to our liking and I noticed how he checked out our plated food to make sure it was as it should be presented. For the quality of the food, the taste and the service, the price for our very pleasant dinner was, great! Definitely will be back.

Great atmosphere and excellent food. Loved the historical building and the beautiful artwork and photographs. Servers were polite, attentive, but not pushy. Both my steak and my wife's ribs were cooked perfectly to our preference and our drinks were mixed expertly and kept full. They have a good selection on their menu and the restaurant was alive with families, young couples, and people just relaxing.

Went there for the 1st time with new manager for Appliance & Furniture Rental store. The staff was wonderful and very helpful, the food was very tasty and good selection of beers on tap. Highly recommended!!

Very off night. On the waiting list and marked off without a call that we were up. Dinner was absolutely nothing to brag about. Chicken undercooked. Dirty dishes left on table. Slow service. Disappointed overall.

The menu is seriously impressive with a lot of creative western-inspired choices. I had the sirloin tips in Black Butte Porter cream sauce over garlic mash. The flavor was delicious, the meat a little chewy, however. My son loved the rainbow trout he ordered, declaring it the best he'd ever had. Service was attentive and friendly.

Unique and friendly atmosphere. Everything we ordered was excellent! The pecan pie was heavenly. We would definitely come back.

Easily one of the best places to eat in Spearfish or within 50+ miles. I go here every time I’m in town.

We love coming here! Their beef dishes are top notch. My favorite is the Bloody Mary's that I personally think are the best in Spearfish! They also have delicious buffalo wings that have been hickory smoked and are delicious, today was just introduced to chicken fried bacon my new favorite!

The ribeye was excellent. My husband likes medium well and I like medium rare. Both Cuts were delicious.

Gotta try the Rocky Mountain Oysters. This is a Sturgis Bike Rally favorite of ours. We always make sure to eat here every year and this year did not disappoint, as usual. Menu selection is plentiful. Really nice decor making for a relaxing and comfortable dining experience. Staff is always friendly and attentive, and offer great suggestions if you’re indecisive. Fill up at the Steerfish, hit the Spearfish Canyon scenic highway, then go back for some refreshing cocktails while you decide which excellent menu item you want for dinner.
